The Oberoi, Marrakech

Spacious gardens, olive trees and resort architecture. Before booking, check how your chosen ceremony and dinner layout fits the event spaces available on your date.

The atmosphere

The Oberoi offers olive gardens, patios and water features on a grand scale. Its different spaces make it possible to imagine a seated dinner or a larger reception.

Accommodation and event spaces

  • The hotel lists five event settings: Ballroom (up to 120), Olive Gardens (200 per garden), Grand Canal (up to 400), Patio (up to 400), and Boardroom (12).
  • Published sizes include Ballroom 121.3 m², Olive Gardens 1,328 m², Grand Canal 2,656 m² and Patio 588.46 m².
  • The resort offers rooms, suites and pool villas. A 2019 opening announcement gave 84 units at that time; that historical number should not be treated as today’s available inventory.

One thing to know

The Grand Canal, Patio and olive gardens lend themselves to different layouts. Ask to see exactly where the ceremony, dinner, dancing and guest circulation will take place.

Three useful questions

  1. What is the actual seated layout in each garden and on the Patio?
  2. Which event areas can be kept free from non-event hotel guests?
  3. What electrical access and safety constraints apply near the water?
