Hotel wedding or private event estate?
A hotel may provide several dining spaces, staff and guest rooms, while a private estate can offer a more exclusive shared weekend. Neither arrangement is automatically less expensive or more flexible.
How hotel quotations work
Ask whether the hotel charges a venue fee, catering minimum, room block or full buy-out. A banquet package is not necessarily the price of a whole wedding weekend. Clarify VAT, services and technical overtime.
Resort villas are not banquet spaces by default
Booking a private villa at Mandarin Oriental or The Oberoi does not automatically establish permission to host a wedding dinner in it. Confirm the authorised event area, included amenities and contractor policy directly.
